Woohoo...are you ready for Part 2?
Okay, here we go!
Once again, I am showing off signed designer
quilt blocks that I won from the Quiltmaker
100 BLOCKS MAGAZINE Vol. 4
BLOCK GIVEAWAY CONTEST.
The first two were featured in the
previous post, and here are
the final two.
[Drum roll please]
Another favorite of mine, because it is SEW patriotic,
#361 - USA
by Maria Umhey of Cheerful Quilts
Great use of red, (off-)white and blue fabrics, machine
applique of the "USA" and I really appreciate that
Maria took the time and attention to detail to
make sure the star background is cut and
sewn in the same direction! How
cool is that? Fantastic!
And finally... [Drum roll please]
#388 - PINWHEEL CROSSROADS
by Christina McCourt of C McCourt Quilt Designs.
Another great choice of colors and movement in
Christina's block. This would be stunning made up
bed-sized with multiple blocks and borders in the
four-color fabric combination of your choice.
Can't you just imagine it finished on your
bed? It would be so lovely!
So, you see it really is worth it to take the time
to enter contests in quilting magazines.
If I can win, so could you! Toodles! ♫
